How does a Golden Round work?

When a golden round is announced it means that a guaranteed jackpot is added and in play for the round. This means that the person who finishes first overall will win the guaranteed amount even if they do not get all 6 match scores correct. The same rules apply and should there be more than one person in first overall, the winner will be decided by the golden goal. The golden round amount is paid to the single person who finishes the round in position 1 overall across all eligible countries, no matter the number of scores predicted correctly. If the user predicts all 6 scores correctly they will still be paid the FULL Pawa6 jackpot and not the smaller golden round jackpot.

The overall Golden Round winner will win the golden round Jackpot amount for their country of residence should they finish 1st overall in Pawa6. Only one Golden Round jackpot is paid out across all eligible jurisdictions. Only users in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, and Tanzania will be eligible for the golden round jackpot.

Additional terms and conditions apply. The winner will also have to make themselves available for promotional materials including an interview and photographs to be eligible for the golden round jackpot. All existing rules and T&C's apply.

Round Scoring Rules

  • Points will be scored as follows. Players will receive 5 points for each correct score predicted in a Pawa6 fixture. Players will receive 2 points for each correct result predicted in a Pawa6 fixture. Players will not score points for correctly predicting a Golden Goal (as defined below). Golden Goals will be used to determine winners in the case of ties as defined for each prize category below. There will be 6 fixtures comprising a round (a “round”)
  • Each round in the Pawa6 Promotion closes at the kick-off time of the first fixture of each round. The list of fixtures and kick off times for each round can be viewed at the Pawa6 app or website.
  • Once the competition has closed entrants cannot change their predictions any attempt to do so will result in immediate disqualification and banning of the account. Once an entry has been submitted, it can be changed before the closing time via the website or app. In order to enter the Promotion, Players must predict the scores for all six Pawa6 fixtures identified for the relevant round and make a prediction of the “Golden Goal” (the time of the first goal to be scored in a round). When judging the closest prediction for time of the Golden Goal, times before and after the actual time of the first goal will be considered equally.

Once the competition has closed entrants cannot change their predictions and any attempt to do so will result in immediate disqualification and banning of the account. Once an entry has been submitted, it can be changed before the closing time via the website or app. In order to enter the Promotion, Players must predict the scores for all six Pawa6 fixtures identified for the relevant round and make a prediction of the “Golden Goal” (the time of the first goal to be scored in a round) prior to all deadlines. What is the Golden Goal?

The Golden Goal is the prediction for the time of the first goal in any of the rounds Pawa6 fixtures. You enter your prediction for the “Golden Goal” when you make your correct score predictions.

The “Golden Goal” is used as a decider to determine the finishing places for the Jackpot, guaranteed weekly and monthly competitions, should there be any users with tied total points.

When two or more people have the same number of points, the person who has correctly predicted (or is closest to) the actual time of the first goal will be placed highest. It could determine who wins a prize.

The timing of goals scored will be recorded as follows: 0 - 59 seconds = 1st minute, 1m00s – 1m:59s = 2nd minute and so on. For example if you select minute 6 for the Golden Goal then you will be looking for the first goal to be scored between 5m00s – 5m59s.
