14 Zambians are realising their dreams right now with the help of betPawa’s Dream Maker.
We toured the country in the Dream Bus, encouraging people everywhere to share their dreams. All entries were carefully reviewed and the most inspiring ones are being brought to life.
One of those belonged to Changala from Lusaka. He’s excited by modern agriculture and wants to use the latest technology to create jobs and support local sellers.
When he found out his dream had been chosen, he said: “Wow, this is unbelievable. Is this really true? I am lost for words, to say the least. I am so grateful to betPawa.”
Changala also confidently predicted that “this will push me to the next level”, saying that “this will most definitely inspire a lot of people”.
Terence shares a similar passion. His dream was to turn his crop and poultry farming into a career, offering inspiration and job opportunities to others.
The Kitwe resident was equally shocked that his dream is becoming a reality, saying: “I still can't believe this… I will be living proof that all we need in life at times is a push from somewhere.”
He added that “lives are going to be changed by this single dream”, concluding “thank you betPawa, it doesn’t come any better than this”.
The Dream Maker’s work didn’t stop there, with a further 12 dreams being chosen:
-> Falesi: buying a hammermill for her maize-grinding business
-> Getrude: starting a business selling second-hand clothes
-> Kennedy: going to a driving school to learn how to drive a truck
